Guess who started the toaster on fire??? Our little curious George thought it would be fun to see what happens when you toast formula powder (don't try this at home. trust me it doesn't turn out well). I awoke to the sound of the fire alarm and dashed downstairs. I didn't have my contacts in but it was hard to miss the flames leaping towards my son as he sat mesmerized and screaming, " fire engine mom. " Disaster averted thanks to our smoke detectors. My mom ( mother of seven) says that she runs around all day stomping out fire's. Well Mom, now I think I understand what you mean.
P.S Please observe what Ben has on his pajamas.

YIKES! Well, you already heard my fire story! And I can't blame it on anyone but myself!
That's a classic Benny story! We'll never forget the Curious little Benny!
Welcome back to the blog! We're so glad to see you are up and running again.
Oh my! Benny is TRUUUU-BUL! That is simply hilarious. Glad the outcome was not disastrous. I think mothering is one of the most dangerous jobs out there. Instead of the Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" there should be a show about the deadliest mothering experiences.
OH....MY...GOSH! I would just DIE! I am so glad you guys are SAFE!!!!!!!
That is so scary!
wow...i am glad everything is ok! well even ben causes trouble sometimes for you... he is dang cute!
I just have to say that your darling little girl looks like Suri Cruise. She's adorable. We live in SF too doing the whole law school thing. Good Luck with everything! You've got your hands full!
I would have completely freaked out! You are such a patient person, I bet you handled it perfectly! PS, love the pjs.
Oh Kelti, that is hilarious and horrifying all at once. Are you OK? Hope so. On the bright side of things, at least he didn't already know how to call 911. THen you would have come downstairs to a hot toaster and a bunch of firemen.
