Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Antics
Children really make holidays magical again. This year Ben and Emme are obsessed with all things Halloween. Ben has worn his fleece Batman costume for two weeks, doesn’t matter to him that it’s nearly ninty degree outside, he sweats it out happily. Emme exclaims over our ghost decorations every time we come up the driveway. The fiftieth time may not be as cute as the first but I never get tired of hearing the excitement in her voice. So to celebrate the season we indulged ourselves at the Pumpkin patch.

sooo cute. We were going to attempt to find a pumpkin patch out here in the boonies but it turns out a friend from our ward had a bunch in their garden. One great thing about living in the middle of nowhere--people are resourceful.

I love the expression on Ben's face in the last pix. SO fun! I have to say its nice to be back in Oregon for Halloween again because it actually FEELS like fall. I can't imagine it being 90 degrees for Halloween. I bet you are LOVING it!!! I'm so happy for you...we miss you so much, though ;0(

Hey Bob! Thanks for the birthday chat - it was great hearing from ya. That awesome food storage blog is called http://safelygatheredin.blogspot.com. Check it out! They give you a week-by-week assignment to get your 72 hour kits up and food storage ready, so it's not so much pressure to do it all at once. Hope you enjoy! Love you guys
